It’s February and ever the non-traditionalist I’ve decided to kick-start my fitness regime as of today. From this moment onwards, well maybe not right this second, but from today onwards I will be eating clean and hitting the gym more, sharing with you my progress (or lack of!), reviewing some awesome fitness products and writing the odd healthy recipe as well as the usual stuff you’ve come to expect of According to Gem.
I’ll be posting my current measurements shortly so I can track exactly how well I do this month and you can see whether any of the products I’m reviewing have actually helped me in my quest for a leaner, greener more toned me.

I’m with you! This was one of my New Year’s Resolutions to get fit, and maybe do the Race for Life in June and another run, so I have something to aim for. Unfortunately I went out for 1 run and that was it, apart from the compulsory PE lessons…
I’m also trying to eat healthily but it’s really hard. The chocolate calls.. :( I downloaded a calorie counter just to keep in check that I’m not eating lots of rubbish, but I’ve only done one day..

Thanks Hannah. So far I’m trying to use a combination of fitness apps, dvds and good old fashioned hard work, though with the current cold weather all I really want to do is curl up under a blanket and scoff chocolate! Lol! I’ll try and post a review at the weekend of my favourite fitness apps to hopefully help inspire you ;) xx
