Review – Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser

Given I’m not a fan of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser this is reportedly a dupe of I must admit I had pretty low expectations for Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser (boy that’s a name and a half!). That said when I spotted it on offer for less than half the usual price I figured it was worth a punt.

For £5.99 (or currently £2.99!) you get 150ml of product and a muslin cloth which is pretty reasonable when you consider that the Liz Earle equivalent is £14.75 for 100ml.

Initially I hated the overpowering scent of mulberry but after a week or so I’ve actually come to like the smell. The product is incredibly thick and rich and it’s been a bit of trial and error to get the right amount of product for my face, I’ve finally settled on a blob slightly smaller than a 10p which covers my face without too much wastage. I massage it in before soaking the muslin cloth in hot water and removing the cleanser in a circular motion. Finally I finish off by splashing my face with warm water to remove any leftover residue.

I can’t speak for its make-up removing powers as I always remove my make-up first with L’Oreal Skin Perfection Miracle Cleansing Oil (review coming soon) but I have found my skin looking clearer and more radiant since I began using the Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser so it must be doing something right. It’s still early days but so far I’m loving what it has done for my skin.

I’m still not convinced I’d pay £5.99 for it but I will definitely be stocking up on a few more tubes whilst it’s on offer as at just £2.99 it’s a great deal.
