Swatched – Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Stellar, Apocalyptic & Nova

I’m loving Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer right now. So much so that I just couldn’t help myself from stocking up on another three colours in the Boots 3 for 2 offer. Unfortunately Nude Eclipse was still out of stock in the three Boots stores I looked in so I purchased Stellar, Apocalyptic and Nova instead.

I had another £2 off lipstick or mascara voucher from my advantage card which meant three lip lacquers came in at just £9.98 instead of the usual £5.99 each. Bargain!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Colour Lacquer LIpstick Gloss Nova Apocalyptic Stellar Swatches ReviewAs you can see these three are pretty bright compared to the first batch of Apocalips lacquers I bought and I think they’ll look great with a tan come Summer.

In the flesh Stellar is a gorgeous bright orange toned red which is surprisingly wearable. Apocalyptic is a bright fushia pink which reminds me of MAC’s Girl About Town. I will swatch them side by side when I get a chance and see just how similar the two of them are. Finally there’s  Nova a cutesy bubblegum pink.

Here they are swatched. Aren’t they beautiful?

Rimmel Apocalips Swatches Nova Stellar ApocalypticI absolute love their creamy formula and having worn Big Bang and Celestial several times since I bought them I can happily say they have a 4 – 5 hour wear time and I can get through a standard day with only one touch up. If I’m totally honest I find them a tad drying, but nowhere near as bad as some of the lipsticks I’ve tried and nothing a slick of lip balm can’t cure.

If you haven’t seen it already I also swatched Luna, Celestial & Big Bang here.
