My Night-Time Routine

my night time beauty routine skin care

Whilst I’m not one for wearing lots of make up, the make up I do wear is rather long-lasting and as such I’m quite thorough when it comes to removing it and like to make sure every last scrap is removed before I go to sleep. It’s got so bad that Mike has actually asked why it takes me far longer to remove my make up than it does to put it on.

These are the products I can’t sleep without.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil – £18

At first I was a little bit scared to use oil on my slightly erratic normal – combination skin, but this is the only product I’ve found that cuts through my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation.

Bioderma Sebium H2O Micellaire Water – £10.45

I reviewed this product here a while ago and it’s still one of my favourite products. I use this after my cleanser to ensure every last scrap of make up is removed. I order mine from a fab seller on eBay.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum – £44

I’ve been using Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum for the best part of six months now and have to say it has improved the general appearance of my skin massively and reduced the size of my pores. I also like to think that by having started using this at 25, that I’ll reap the benefits in later life when my skin still appears wrinkle-free, though time will tell on that front.

Origins Make A Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment – £33

I’ve had the sample of this for a few weeks now and already it’s become a staple product for me which I will definitely repurchase when my sample runs out. I use this after Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum to keep my skin fully hydrated.

Alpha H Liquid Gold – £31.50

I tend to use this twice a week in place of Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum to keep my skin looking fresh and revived.

Pearl Drops Beauty Sleep Serum – £3.49 at Boots or currently £1.95 in Superdrug

I bought this on a whim and really didn’t expect it to do much, but I have to say in the week or so that I’ve been using it it’s made a noticeable difference to the whiteness of my teeth without causing any sensitivity. I still can’t quite believe how cheap this wonder product is.

Origins Super Spot Remover – £13

Since Winter arrived my skin has been in meltdown. I’ve been using this every time I feel a spot appearing and whilst it’s no miracle cure, it’s definitely cutting the time my spots stick around for. I dab this on any blemishes before I head to bed.

What’s your night-time routine?

  1. Lovely post! I’m so nosey so it’s good to see which poducts people include in their daily routines :) Will have to try the Pearl Drops Serum next, sounds too good to be true xx

  2. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ve been tempted to do some routine posts for a while now but was never sure if people were actually into that kinda thing or if it would seem a bit self-indulgent. Definitely try the Pearl Drops Beauty Sleep serum, it’s amazing! xx
