Designers Guild scented candle – Linen*
You may recognise this wonderful looking candle from my Amara Christmas Gift Ideas post. The kind folks from Amara got in touch and asked me if I’d like to review one of their scented candles and this seemed like the perfect one for me. Fresh, non-floral scent – check! Shades of blue – check! And best of all stripes – check! I mean, what girl doesn’t love a striped product?
As soon as it arrived I was keen to try it out, so out came the lighter and on went the candle. Even before lighting it I was struck by just how strong the scent was and even when not lit it manages to easily scent our room with the beautiful scent of Bergamot and Lemon. The website says the candle has a burn time of 50 hours, that said I’ve never managed to fully use up any of my other candles so I doubt I’ll be able to confirm whether this is the case. Either way, 50 hours seems like a reasonable amount of time given the size of the candle.
In terms of style, it comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube which you could easily leave it in when not in use and still look stylish. Equally the chunky striped glass votive it sits in would add a classy look to any shelf or table. Ours has taken pride of place on my bedside table.
