As a child I used to spend hours wandering the beautiful countryside surrounding our house, I just couldn’t get enough of the great outdoors. As an adult I rarely find an opportunity to just take in the world around me, but since getting my new camera I’m determined to change that.
On Saturday I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and drive to the church where Mike and I will be married next year to take some photos of the church itself and the grounds surrounding it. As far as I’m concerned this is by far the prettiest church in Surrey.
But what makes this little church extra special is its (not so) secret garden.
I wandered for ages, enjoying the sunshine and taking photos of the wild flowers. I’m not usually a flowery person but I just can’t get over how amazing my new camera makes things look.
The most exciting discovery though was what I saw over the wall…
I’m hoping whoever owns the land might let us pop by on the big day for a sneaky snap or two. Fingers crossed!
