It’s that time of the month, the one week of the month where I’m best left to my own devices, sadly the same can’t be said of my skin which seems to be in a state of meltdown right now. Now there’s only two things to do in a situation like this, panicking wasn’t an option so I had a rummage in my skincare drawer and pulled out this trio of wonder masks which have been quickly whipping my skin back to its usual self.
As soon as my skin takes a turn for the worst I’m always quick to reach for Ren’s Clearcalm 3 Clarity Restoring Mask* – £30 which helps to soothe my skin and reduce redness without leaving my skin feeling tight.
I follow this up with Clinique’s Moisture Surge Overnight Mask – £28. I love the simplicity of this mask, you simply whack it on and then head to bed. When I wake my skin looks plump and radiant and my blemishes look less visible.
I don’t know about you but I always find my skin looking rather drab and dull during that time of the month which is where my Ren Invisible Pores Detox Mask – £18 comes in. Not only does it help minimise my pores, it also leaves my skin brightened and feeling silky smooth. My favourite thing about this mask though is the way you leave it to dry before gently rubbing it off, just don’t wear a dark top while you’re doing it or you’ll be dustier than a dust bunny!
