One of my favourite things about Autumn is that I get to wear my favourite wintery tones, you know the ones, those rich, plummy tones that can’t help but make you feel all warm and toasty inside. No? Just me then!
I showed you six of my favourite Autumnal nail polishes last week, but now I’m back to share with you a new favourite.
I must say I am a HUGE fan of New York Color or NYC nail polishes on the whole, as the brush makes them super quick and easy to apply and they manage to last the week with just minimal tip wear. Now that’s my kinda nail polish! My only gripe is there’s not a wider selection of colours in my local Superdrug.
I spied Park Ave as I was desperately trawling Superdrug for a third item to buy in their 3 for 2 offer. This beautiful taupe/greige polish is the perfect nod to Autumn without looking like you’ve gone all vamp. It’s opaque after two coats where it appears to be a taupe-grey colour, and after three coats it appears to have a beautifully subtle purple tinge to it.
Isn’t it beautiful? In terms of other polishes I own, it’s similar to Barry M’s Dusky Mauve but without the shimmer.
Park Ave is from the In a New York Minute range of quick drying polishes, and it’s certainly quick. Both hands were painted and touch dry in less than 15 minutes.
Have you tried any of the NYC range?
Ooh this colour is lovely! Would be perfect under Dusky Mauve! xx
It really would! I think it’d also look pretty great with Essie’s Shine of the Times over the top xx
